- How many gallons of gasoline do you use every month. The EPA states that every 100 gallons of gasoline that a typical passenger vehicle burns releases roughly 1 metric ton.
- How much electricity does your home consume? Look at your last electricity bill. For every 1 Kilowatt/Hour that your home consumed, a coal-burning power plant released a little over 1 metric ton of grenhouse gases.
